On Thursday June 17th 2010, the first 18,000 fans to enter Yankee Stadium to watch the Yankees battle the Phillies in a rematch of the 2009 World Series were in for a treat, and we’re not talking about the game. They all received the Avis Yankees Fan Book, designed and created by our very own Executive Vice President and Avis Budget Group Account Manager Marcia Tarnoff with the help of her team. The booklet contained colorful imagery of the brand new Yankee Stadium, facts about the number 27, and a page detailing each of the Yankees’ 27 World Series Championships and the seasons they capped-off. The book also included an exclusive coupon for an Avis rental, pages for photos to be inserted, and of course, plenty of space for autographs.
